And of course the same for you. I understand your POV.

The federal government, IMHO, did its part in developing the vaccine and getting it through trials and approvals in record time. Once it was available and distributed to the states, the states have the responsibility for storing the vaccine, prioritizing the dispensing and vaccinating the citizens. This is where the logjam seems to be happening. In some areas, it’s going quite efficiently - in mine, for example. Before Christmas, our local hospital staff and those working in patient care got the first vaccine and got the booster this week. We’re now on the way to vaccinating the next tier. If it’s not going well in your area, is it because your state does’t have the vaccines, or hasn’t figured out how to dispense them?

Just heard a doctor talking about this on FNC. She was talking about states and percentages put in arms.
She said “When the states received their supplies, they came with a ‘LITTANY’ of requirements about the order of who first”
She advocated opening it up and getting it on.
She’s a doctor, white, and female. I believe her.

Are we supposed to believe this wasn’t Fauci et al in both cases?

Is Mom winning or is Dad? lol
How many has each state administered? This is not a per capita measure.
All states were given allotments according to population. Thus callie and Texas were given more.
Per capita is the way to go when measuring.

From the CDC or from the states?
FLA seems to have the ‘flood the zone’ approach going…much broader groups eligible now.
I think that really makes sense. Seems like there is plenty to both have open access for all AND save some for long term facilities.
We’re learning I guess…I wish we could learn faster.

I’m not sure I agree with that. I guess if we know production is strong…it will all catch up?
@toreyj01 is there a problem if you get teh first shot and then don’t get teh second for say 30 days instead of 21?

Yeah, but that’s not a good metric. Some states got more than others because of size. And of course the larger the state, the more shots you would expect them to already have given.
No, doses administered is the way to measure it.
Jersey is smaller than some of our counties making it much easier to distribute the entire allotment.
Then you have no concept of geography or logistics.
tnt
1223
that makes no sense.
Per capita is the only legit measurement.

And you have no idea how it is to get around our small state.
Per capita is the only valid metric to measure proficiency of this task.
How many doses was TX allowed? How many was NJ?
Small doesn’t mean organized, it means small.
Texas contributes more to the GDP than jersey.
Yet the people in jersey makes more GDP per capita.
Per capita is the correct way to measure this kind of thing.
