It may be a slow ramp up due to holidays, but why would you not give as many shots as early as you could? The quicker 1a (and apparently in some cases the friends of the vaccinators) get shots, the quicker they can move on to the rest.
I agree, it was dishonest for NBC to project that it would take 10 years to vaccinate everyone at “this rate” when this rate consists of the first week of shots which started in a holiday.

Yeah that wasn’t a very good story. I will agree.

I would have stated that it was the holiday period which was why the vaccination ramp up didn’t go as quickly as hoped. We will be at the 20,000,000 mark sooner than later.

Yup. Went to my Doc Dec 1 for injection for arthritic knee and flu shot. Doc gave the injection with huge needle into knee jerk and left the flu shot to her assistant.
