Fat Donald praises Roger Stone for being a good little MAGA Guido.

How surprising.

Not!

He says that because he’s afraid of the alternative.

This right here. This is what is being overlooked or is lost on some of these defenders of Trump. It’s not the words of Cohen, Corsi, or Stone. It’s the accompanying evidence that corroborates their words. None of these men can be trusted by word alone. Mueller is not an idiot who would proceed solely based on a verbal admission.

I swear, the need to defend Trump does a number on some folks ability to think logically.

This whole belief that “Mueller is leaning on Cohen and Corsi and Stone to tell lies and say what Mueller wants them to say” is just bonkers bat ■■■■ desperately crazy.

I got an earful of this from the family at Thanksgiving.

One of the only good things about the Trump Presidency is that my family doesn’t force political discussions at the holidays.

They know that they can’t defend him.

I’m sure that was a good time.

People saying things that are going to have a really hard time processing things as this progresses.

My family will, although things are relatively muted.

I guess what I noticed was a kind of defensive posture (as opposed to a year or so ago, when my dad was crowing about the stock market, etc.). It’s also sort of amazing what they have no idea about, like Trump’s Twitter rants. For example, I read his juvenile Tweet about Adam Schiff, and I think my mom was genuinely shocked for about 4 seconds before she (metaphorically) stuck her hands over her ears and said, “Lalalalalalal! I can’t hear you!”

The last time I saw my family’s face to face was when McCabe was being grillled and my father was getting that spine tingle CEC outrage.

I told him that nothing was going to really come of it and it he is being distracted.

He said “maybe”

And we left it at that.

The reason I started to visit here was because I was constantly blindsided by the CEC talking points they would bring up… so in late 2008… I started seeing what was being said here.

It’s been fun.

Ha.

That’s a little similar to my story, when I joined in 2004. I had been a recovering rightwinger for only a few years, and got a little bubble-wrapped in NPR/NYT/Blue-state cocoon. After Bush won in 2000, then the Iraq war, then innumerable blowups with Republicans (I used to be one of them, after all, and they grew increasingly angry and incomprehensible), I started coming here to see what was up. It’s been pretty helpful.

Be patient with them, they just learned how bail works like a year ago.

Dad was a Fox News regular and couldn’t stand the fact that Obama was president…yes there were racial overtones to his position.

We didn’t discuss politics…at least I didn’t with him.

One time he showed by a clip of Jeanine Pirro screeching about something, something, Obama.

He was impressed with her feigned anger, not the content of what she said, which was nonsensical. He somehow identified with the feeling tone expressed. I think that’s the connection you’re often seeing with Fox News viewers…a sentimental desire for the world as it was in the “old” days, when things were predictable and white men were in charge. You know, as it should be.

About this?

Kind of weird how fixated on pedophiles the conspiracy theorists are, yet here is one right out in the open in the Trump administration and it’s just…silence.

Tis’ the season for treason!

Eric Trump is literally the last person on earth to be stating this.

You could literally replace George Conway with Donald Trump and it still would ring true.

I would not be surprised if some of what Mueller is adding to his report all goes back to Dumb Donald’s tweets.

I took a long break from CEC nonsense around 2000. I started listening to Alex Jones in the early 2000’s when my now ex wife got a job at the Council on Foreign Relations and wanted to keep tabs on the crazies.

I never would have imagined that his brand of lunacy would become a norm instead of an aberration.

The other thing that pushed me to foming here was working for Fox News during the 2008 GOP convention. Being inside the bubble for that was crazy.

It’s even involves their favorite conspiracy pedo. In an actual conspiracy!

I was quite high on that brand of crazy right around then. I got out. So can they.
