Agree!
don’t care
I do wish they leave it hell alone…whether it’s daylight saving our standard time. Either way I don’t care.
I agree with many that the EPA is often out of control, but wholesale rolling back of environmental regulations will likely prove to be a big negative.
which regulations would that be?
“Wholesale” is a wide net. Mining practices come to mind of course, and the sometimes awful runoff they can produce.
and where do you see anything that says trump will change those regulations that have to do with runoff?
He mentions streamlining mineral extraction often. What, you think he’s going to tighten environmental regulations? His first administration was sued hundreds of times over attempts to weaken protections.
Excellent
The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t! Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
So small!!! All the credit!
Making daylight saving time permanent was the aim of a 2022 bill that passed the Democratic-controlled Senate.
But the Sunshine Protection Act, which was introduced by Republican Senator Marco Rubio, never made it to President Joe Biden’s desk.
protections or unneeded impediments? Sorry, I don’t buy into the green weenie â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–
Not exactly a policy, but I don’t agree with Trump looking to block the purchase of US Steel.
I do.
Corporations are the most irresponsible entities imaginable. Unneeded indeed.
2nd only to government bureaucrats.
I dunno, it’s close…
Appointing Trump worshipping sycophants will prove to have myriad negatives. Kash Patel for example.
yes, many regulations are unneeded, they do not protect the environment, they are only meant to impede progress.
don’t know how else you investigate lawfare other than actually investigating it. We know, we know, you don’t want it investigated.
From that article:
“While appearing on the Highly Conflicted podcast with the Guardian’s Hugo Lowell, the ex-FBI official explained, “I don’t think people truly realize how powerful an FBI director can be, unrestrained. You want to open a case and call it a threat assessment or a preliminary investigation, you can do it.”
And that is exactly what the FBI investigation of the Trump campaigns cooperation with Russia to steal the 2016 election was based upon, according to the Horowitz report. He flat out stated it was based on “a credible accusation” as opposed to hard evidence.
It’s clear to me why Trump would not want the same people who tied up his first four years based on a subjective credible accusation to do exactly the same thing with his last four years. And my credible accusation is that is exactly what they would do.
