So let’s say you have you have high blood pressure or heart disease, and you’re standing on the edge of the cliff. I come up and push you off the cliff and you fall to your death.

What killed you?

Covid is the push off the cliff in this example. Were it not for that, those people would still be alive and Covid is what killed them.

Ridiculous…They died of COVID, complicated by their comorbidities. The Comorbidities didn’t kill them…that is why they are called CO-morbidities…CO a prefix for along with. Can you say for sure that these people would have died of their other conditions at the time, had they not also gotten COVID?

Being a diabetic, I can tell you that’s not how it works. If I drop dead of a heart attack tonight, a heart attack is what will be listed as cause of death. Now, the diabetes may very well be what caused the heart attack, but it would be the heart attack that killed me.

Same thing with COVID. If the individual was plugging along just fine before Covid-19, that demonstrates that COVID was the actual trigger that caused death, and it would rightly be listed that way on the death certificate

But saying that someone that has asthma, a heart condition, obesity, high blood pressure, etc. with a life expectancy of 10, 20, 30, 40 years and dies because they catch COVID-19 which stresses the body and causing them to die and not recognizing that COVID was a contributing factor, is like…

Saying a gun shot victim doesn’t die from being shot but they died form a lead poisoning.

Just don’t get it.
