There is evidence that the President broke the law… hence the audit.

He might owe the US about $100 million. This is on top of the $100 million loan that comes due in a couple of years.

What a terrible businessman this guy is.

Darn it, you got me.

Bernie Madoff donated and ran a charity but he, in fact, did not have a building with his name on it.

Ummm, Trump University. Defrauded folks investing in an education.

Trump Foundation, defrauded contributers with self-pay schemes and ■■■■ like using other people’s contributions to by paintings of himself for his own personal use.

So, yeah. Repeatedly.

This must be news to some people.

The IRS stated this several times a couple of years ago, but Trump and his flock of sheep still use this as an excuse. If his finances and businesses are on the up and up, then there should be nothing to worry about…right?

I’m willing to bet,

  1. He’s not as wealthy as he want people to believe
    or
  2. He’s in debt to a lot of foreign financial institutions and countries.
    or
    both!

“Loan forgiveness” is something he is counting on.

sure. the govt gives out enough money for everyone else

Defrauding banks and tax payers vs defrauding investors (who are also tax payers)

Didn’t he have a bunch of that already, but he is so bad at business his losses way offset the income he would declare as income for forgiveness of loans that he couldn’t pay?

I mean… this guy is really really bad at business.

Like I said earlier, feeding from the gubmint trough is cool now. Because Trump.

none of this (if even true) is like what madoff did

train wreck fail

it’s always been cool. because democrats

‘I like people who didn’t get caught’ has a new meaning.

Trump has about a half billion in loans that are due within the next 4 years. Some of those loans he guaranteed himself, meaning creditors can seize his personal assets to cover the amount due on a business loan.

I get it. As long as folks can convince themselves that he shot the guy on 4th Avenue, not 5th Avenue, they can sleep at night.

Glad I don’t live in that world of massive moral relativity.

There is documented court proof that Trump frauded people.

That’s why he’s paying back Trump U students and enjoined from running another charity.

Trump supporters apparently haven’t heard about those examples or they wouldn’t have to repeat the same stupid question like they’ve made a point.

P.S. I wonder if those students have received their money yet?

Of course it has. It’s amazing watching so many change their positions based on a single politician more than most women change clothes. Truly.

It’s true… those things actually happen.

Very few cases of fraud rise to the level of Bernie Madoff. That does not mean that lesser instances of fraud are no big deal.

That’s how all successful businessmen operate.

Trump is an investor. Apparently, not a good one. He is not an entrepreneur. He doesn’t build and run businesses. His management skills are on display for all to see. He can’t manage people.
He does not possess the business discipline it would take to honestly report his assets. Any business owner that has applied for a line of credit or substantial loan, has had to make this decision on the value of the business’ assets. He doesn’t have the discipline to keep him from inflating those numbers. He has a history of doing it for years.

up and up means legal…you should know that, thinkingman :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
