Trump Ordered Ukraine Ambassador Removed After Complaints From Giuliani, Others

… violation of the law in asking the Ukrainians to take another look at the investigation into Burisma and the Bidens.

TDS indeed.

I agree. seeing that as a violation of the law is TDS.

King Trump can do whatever he wants.

In what world of yours can a President not select the ambassador he chooses?

I am amazed still why some people just do not understand why this is bad.

Well… only kinda amazed.

This defense that Trump just wanted to investigate corruption is laughable, as if he seriously wanted to conduct a fair, honest investigation. He’s ignored all the corruption surrounding him his whole life, yet suddenly wants an investigaion in a case that specifically targets one of his political adversaries.

Nope, not buying it.

What he internally “wanted” is of no concern. What he asked for was an investigation, not results. That is what Ukraine agreed to.

You seriously believe Democrats were not hoping to “get Trump” with all the fake collusion investigations?

But he became SO presidential after he won! His motives are purely MAGA driven now.

More TDS indeed.

What he (not so) internally wanted is of supreme relevance.

And, when asked what corruption he is “investigating” in countries that don’t involve his political opponents he had…zilch, nada, nothing.

“We would have to look…”

Lol, so transparent for people willing to look.

I hear Trump is going to pressure Canada to look into why Buttigieg is sweeter than syrup.

Neat people making the same arguments…

This is no different than sessions…

Yesterday Trump was asked who else was being investigated for corruption.
He said that he would have to consult “the list”.
I will bet that right after that someone on his staff said, “we need to make up a list”.

And yet so silent on corrupt republican in congress in our own country being found guilty…

An enemies list? Oh please this is just to awesome

Yeah Biden gets a pass after bragging on tape about his extortion of the Ukraine.

What our friends do or do not “buy” doesn’t matter. :+1:

And what he clearly has wanted since before his election victory, is for US allies to stop using the US as a piggy bank and contribute their fair share to their own security. Hence his holding back military aid that Europe should have been supplying to Ukraine to pressure Europe into doing their duty. That accounts quite adequately for the delay in military aid spending.

What he also has clearly wanted since before his election victory, is to root out the corruption in governments that oppresses those nations’ citizens. That adequately accounts for his request for assistance from the Ukrainian president in investigating a potential multimillion dollar fleecing of Ukraine by US government officials and potential electoral fraud perpetrated on the US voters using Ukraine resources.

That these two topics arose in the same conversation is neither unexpected nor prima facie sinister, given the election policies of both men.
