President Trump unloaded on Senate Democrats Monday morning; blasting the liberal legislators for their “disgraceful performance” during the confirmation hearings of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Trump was speaking with reporters on the White House lawn when he was asked to weigh-in on the left-wing lawmakers’ antics and 11th hour revelations that nearly derailed Kavanaugh’s nomination process.
“I thought the way they behaved was absolutely atrocious,” said the President. “I have never seen anything like it, from the leaks of the important documents to the statements they made to watching Blumenthal, who was a fraudster for what he did in Vietnam, and what he did was horrible … The way they tortured [Kavanaugh] and his family, I thought it was a disgrace. I thought it was one of the most disgraceful performances I’ve ever seen.”
