Trump did not send men to assist anyone. That’s the point.
His organization at the time employed 12 people. He said he sent 100 and was sending another 125. He lied.
His casinos employees more people. They did not send any AC employees to NYC. It never happened.

There is a video of trump 1 mile away from ground zero.
Supporters claim this is proof of him being at ground zero.

So the issue is how close he was to ground zero and whether that can be considered part of ground zero? I really don’t get the hysteria.
If he had said he was a first responder, then I would get it. He did not. He said he was not a first responder.

Well, we would have direct testimony but for the fact that Trump sent those same people to Hawaii where they seem to have disappeared.
They were pretty frothy about Obama’s grandpa during WWII.
And Obama didn’t claim to be there himself.
Trump made them all sign NDAs so they’re not at liberty to discuss it.
With ground zero being such a mess, did trump really think the authorities would let any civilian get close?
What pisses me off is he DID NOT give a shout-out to Jon Stewart, but didn’t hesitate mentioning the Rudy.

I still believe the Mulvaney cough was a setup because Trump was about to say something stupid and incriminating.

I would call that close enough to be at the epicenter of a disaster of such magnitude.
How easy do you suppose it was to leave that day being so close?
