I suppose to the Trumpophobes he can only be there if he was actually IN one of the WTC towers.

He was plenty close enough to be impacted emotionally by the attack.

How many people that perished did he personally know? He claims hundreds and that sounds right.

Just at Cantor Fitzgerald he likely knew dozens.

Trump won’t talk about them and I don’t blame him. Just more material for fake news to twist.

:do_not_litter:

I lost friends there too…not as many as Trump perhaps…but friends’ value isn’t in numbers.

So when he claims he was there actually helping…when he claims he sent hundreds of people to help…and both claims are completely unfounded?

You’ll forgive me if I’m a little upset about people claiming they did things on or after 9/11 that they did not do.

Those claims are not completely unfounded.

I am of the impression it is too close and personal for him to bring to the public.

He was 10-20 blocks away from the devastation in the city he has helped build his entire life.

Time to go back to the rat racist catcalls.

:rat:

You seem to be under the impression that trump has compassion. I’ve seen no signs of that.

They are completely unfounded.

City officials kept records of those who helped out at the Towers. They had to…likely for liability reasons. You couldn’t just go down there and help out, you know.

There are no Trump employees listed in the records- Trump’s New York organization didn’t even have “hundreds of people” that could go help out at the time.

No one who was at the site remembers Trump himself being there. The only visual evidence has him blocks away with an absolutely pristine suit. Evidence he was never closer to the Towers than that.

There is zero evidence he was ever there helping out at any time.

Him losing friends is one thing- lying about being there and helping out is another thing altogether.

You believe his boasting and claims about ground zero, even though they have been proven false… because you think it is too close and personal too him to boast and make claims about it.

OK.

Yes that was very ironic…

Trump meant when he “cleared the rubble”, he was eating the crumbs out of the bottom of a bucket of KFC.

Yes they are.

Yeah that’s why he did the interview, because he couldn’t bear talking about it

That’s much more detailed proof he wasn’t at ground zero. Thanks.

Said he cleared rubble at Ground Zero did he? Jesus this just keeps getting worse.

He said he was clearing the rubble. He said he was with the first responders.

Those are lies.

Why would he know people from Cantor Fitzerald?

Snopes said there is no evidence Trump was there

Yes they are.

He never cleared rubble. He never sent 225 people.

He lied.

I got that from your snopes article.

His business that made the claim had an income of $8M. Not a small business.
His building had no damage.

Where the hell is America’s mayor? I’m sure he can vouch for fat donald.

He was in New York City around that time. Suck it, liberal loosers!

Uh, during the campaign, he said this:

“Everyone who helped clear the rubble, and I was there, and I watched, and I helped a little bit.”

He’s a lying ■■■■■■■■ and his supporters love him for it.

By this logic, how many millions of people can also claim they helped out down at Ground Zero just because they happened to be within a mile or so at some point?
