Amen! :+1:

Clear thinking would indicate it is time to stop digging.

I think you are right about one thing. The relentless snipes and innuendo wont stop.

:circus_tent:

While you’re at it, can you share with us next week’s lottery numbers?

?

So…how would you expect anyone to get a conviction if all you depend on is what the accused claims he was doing?

You are literally saying since trump said he didn’t do it, he must not have done it.

I agree. I think that Senate Republicans are really rolling the dice on this one and it very well might bite them.

I live in Maine now. If Collins votes against witnesses, she’s gonna hear about it up here. It’s not gonna be pretty.

He says that. Ukraine pres says that. The transcript doesn’t even hint at what he’s accused of.

You reject them all.

Everything else is hearsay and opinion of never-trumpers. Non-existent dots getting connected.

A witch hunt.

Enjoy the fishing. Senate isn’t buying it, and you know it.

Collins is no asset to the GOP anyway. Or at least not to constitutionalism.

Well you know except for the part where he’s like why do me a favor first and, uh, the part where he did it in front of a bunch of reporters after it broke and threw China in for good measure. Lol. You guys.

Or how Mulvany said ā€œyeah we did… what the ā– ā– ā– ā–  are you going to do about it?ā€

Yeah that did not go the way Mulvaney thought it would do it.

It went from a walk back to a full sprint.

Maybe more so.

Just a one shot reply to the thread.

An acquittal in the Senate is not vindication, any more than O.J. was vindicated upon his acquittal.

If Trump is acquitted, he will no more be vindicated than Clinton was when he was acquitted. Acquittal merely means that 67 Senators did not feel his actions rose to high crimes and misdemeanors worthy of removal from office. Nothing more.

The only President that was ultimately vindicated, Andrew Johnson, was not vindicated until long after his death. He was vindicated when the Supreme Court declared the Tenure of Office Act unconstitutional in the 1920’s, which of course is what Johnson was impeached for violating.

Andrew Johnson was fully vindicated, albeit posthumously.

Bill Clinton and Donald Trump will never be vindicated.

Except Trump didn’t say do me a favor now did he?

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike …

Tell a lie enough people start parroting it.

Is this a prank? You literally quoted him saying it.

Is that really vindication? He did do that ā– ā– ā– ā–  when it was the law.

ā€œUsā€ v ā€œmeā€ was one of the first defenses offered up.

Oh…so you have hard time distinguishing the difference between do me a favor first verse I would like you to do us a favor.

Words matter…and content it is used.
