Some folks seem to make a career of diving into dumpsters and lighting them on fire.
I am truly frightened at how millions of Americans are willingly and wantonly blinding themselves to what this illegal overthrow of the government actually is. Where to start, where to startâŠ
First of all, NO high crimes or misdemeanors are even listed in the articles of impeachment so he was accused of nothing. NOTHING! So there should not even be a trial.
Second: Remember that the Democrats called for Impeachment BEFORE Trump was even in office! That is illegal. A number of Democrats are on record saying they wanted to impeach Trump before he even took office. That is proof that these fascist Democrats from day one have had a sentence in search of a crime . They already knew the sentence: Removal from office. For three years they have been in search of a crime. They thought the Mueller investigation would provide it but it failed. They tried emoluments, obstruction, and all manner of stupid crimes but they failed too. At the last minute they cooked up these faulty impeachment articles that donât even contain crimes!! And now they cry about wanting a fair trial?
Case dismissed!!

He does, in order to avoid articles of obstruction (along with those from the Mueller probe) and to convince the American electorate he isnât hiding anything.
My guess is they (the electorate) wonât buy it. The polls say so.
His base is beyond redemption.

No ⊠the point is that he is not required to. The entire onus of determining guilt rests with the prosecution.

Does âtaintedâ mean duly elected in some other language?
Was the House tainted when they voted to impeach?

No, the point is that in this country you are innocent until proven guilty.
The defense is under no obligation whatsoever to prove the innocence of the defendant.
As for the public? Youâre right, they see whatâs going on and thatâs why demâs are upside down in the polls on impeachment and removal.
Even if 100% of democrats are for it, and end up angry over it, they still lose as long as they canât win over independents because Republicans arenât buying it at all.

âInnocent until proven guiltyâ? A noble concept, that.
Unfortunately, it fails when the defendant is able to control access to evidence that would decide his guilt.
Unless you wish to crown a king in this republic.
