I like having a semblance of law and order.
The existence of too many people who cannot appreciate what is theirs and what is not forces everyone’s hand.
Simply put…too many idiots. No desire for them to eliminate themselves at the hands of better talented humans.
If we lose our second amendment…I will agree with a class system being fully imposed.
yes, it is. the law and the constitution make it his decision to make based on his judgement.

the law says he can. the law based on the constitutional powers of the president and the congress. the congress passed the law which they can do. the congress added the provisions which they can do. the president is responsible for protecting our borders which he must do. if the president believes building a barrier on the southern border will protect us from invasion, it is his decision to make. both the law and the constitution make it the presidents judgement and the presidents decision.
It’s what the POTUS can convince the court of if it’s challenged. They could also conceivably be impeached and removed from office for abusing it.
There’s nowhere on the planet that has socialized medicine that people aren’t still bitching about it.
As long as there are limits on what will be provided there will be complaints.

Right but you and both know it will end up being bare bones rationed care. And that unless it is prohibited it will end up with the wealthy having good insurance through supplementary insurance or just plain cash outlay. Only the bottom tier doctors will accept government only plans, unless prohibited. Millionaire congress critters might have it, but won’t be limited to only using that and nothing else, including cash, to escape the inevitable rationing.
Of course it will be. There’s no bottomless pit of money from which to give everyone whatever they want for free.

Maybe. But if we’re going to do socialized medicine, should there be three or four tiers depending on who you are? Or should everybody get the exact same plan that Nancy Pelosi has?
Should and will are definitely two different things. The elites will always protect themselves.
