Well, he could run as Veep candidate and have Vance go for POTUS. Then, just run things as normal after Vance and him win. Putin did that, I believe, when he faced a term limit. Then he won again and eliminated term limits so he wouldn’t have to bother being 2nd fiddle again.
So it’s possible! But not fussed. He’s pretty old, think he is done after this term.

Once you grant government the power to deny due process to non-citizens, you’ve granted them the power to deny due process to anyone.
Due process is how we determine people have broken the laws.
