Trumpus MAGA is Father Christmas to conservatives while he is Santa Claws to the rest.
This is not a silly analogy. It’s hard to explain to the left the unbounded joy Trump brings to conservative hearts. And we’re quite spoilt by it all.
Every week or two weeks sometimes Trump gives the right another Christmas present. Most lately a constitution believing SCOTUS nominee. And we have come to expect our frequent presents.
Conservatives marvel at their good fortune. Perhaps it’s bekez they have been good that they are so rewarded. While the left, stinkers all, only get a lump of coal in their sweat stained natty kitty hats. Could be.
And Trump Presents come at relatively no cost, save heartburn to the left. Our flat out economy provides all that Santa Trump needs to power his powerhouse Santa’s Workshop.
Whereas the poor left’s Santy Claws is more like Robin Hood. For them to receive goodies they feel obligated to take it from the rich. Take what’s not theirs to begin with.
Conservatives never forget how fortunate they are…or shouldn’t forget. So narrowly did they miss the poisoned bullet from the left, Grandmother Hillary. The nightmare scenario.
Well, Mx. Space_Alien there is a difference. The dems were working for dark anarchy while conservatives tend to believe that a constructive future is best. We came this close (holding thumb and first fanger real real close) to being in darkness for a thousand years…but we persisted. Held on. And then came Trumpus MAGA.
Today dems are living in a GI Tract of their own making. Conservatives were down there as well for 8 long terror years. And the difference with those two things is whereas conservatives hated being down there radical libs love it. Very pseudo masochistic. Strange but true.
I invite any and all who now suffer the indignity of being ground down…down in that colon of despair to come up for air. Look around. Join with conservatives. Experience joy for a change. Bright future and all that super great jazz.
Naturally, the hardcore prefer being eternal poodoo. Victims, etc. But there are the saveable. To those I entreat. C’mon and join happy conservatives. Wake up and smell the rose petals.
A shrimp treadmill that cost the scientist $47 out of pocket was driving the economy into the ground? The same economy that added more jobs than Trump’s first year in office?
Y’know, mom’s ex-husband. Your real dad. The guy who tells you what you want to hear to gain your trust while he is trying to take away mom’s rights. He buys extravagant presents on his credit card that he can’t really afford. It feels like love. It’s not until years later, when you are an adult, that you begin to realize how out how irresponsible he was and how much damage he did.
Trump has been lucky that the economic is strong at the moment. However we have not realized if the GDP will grow at their projected rate. The kicker could be this new trade war. Historically the GDP will be reactive to fluctuation in trade although it will lag behind a bit. I am convinced that Trump and his crew do not have a good handle the nuances of foreign trade. And if this all goes south the Republicans will be hard pressed to explain how the tax turd bill is a good thing.
If Republicans lose the majorities in either house of congress, then they’ll simply blame any bad economic news on the dems. “Trump’s tax cuts and trade war would have ushered in decades of prosperity, if only the democrats hadn’t gotten in the way.” That’s a simple slogan that every Republican can believe in, whether it turns out to be true or not.
The U.S. (With either the lead from behind bullfartery or trigger happy Hillary) was on a path to either nuke the norks or speak their language. So yes, I’d thank Trump for the sun coming up were I pitiful you.
