I am not going to apologize for Putin I know his history how he came to power before the second Chechen war, how he likely ordered the bombing of apartments in Russia in order to claim it was a terrorist attack to launch a second Chechen war. He is 100% not a good person.

I still think they are the lesser of two evils (Today) than China. If Biden brings better ties with Russia so be it good on him and I hope if that happens the right doesn’t berate the democrats calling them traitors for political points at the expense of better ties with a nuclear juggernaut.

In these times, it just doesn’t matter what a president does, the other side will find fault and criticize. And this is a problem, because as you accurately point out, China is going to be a huge problem.

We are rapidly approaching a time when China simply won’t care anymore, and will do whatever it wants. That is going to be a tough world to live in.

And that is why I think our security agreements are so important. I also wish we would have gone on with the TPP, but alas

Well, that is kind of silly. NATO is an international alliance. If Russia kicks it off, it won’t matter if the victim states are socialist or not.
