I get it, politics is a nasty “sport”, and those that break the law should face justice, my worry is we get to the point where those we elect spend more time trying to “get” the other side and ignoring the actual issues we as a country face such as homelessness, runaway immigration, crime, etc.
We are spending more time and energy trying to “get” the other side, everything else is getting worse.

If Trump takes all three of these to full trial, he will definitely go to prison. Juries are by definition composed of people too stupid to come up with a good excuse to get out of jury duty. No one knows why juries come to the conclusions they do and no one what insignificant trial moment will decide their verdict. So it’s basically a coin flip.

And that’s the issue. The chance to flip a coin heads three times in three throws is 12.5%, all other things being equal (not metaphorically, if it was strictly a 50/50 chance).

Do those sound like winning odds? The absolute best scenario is 12.5% he beats all three jury trials. Ignoring he can just be convicted for lesser offenses.

It don’t look good.
