No surprise. The indictment was filed, FPOTUS#45 charged, and he was arraigned in court and pled not guilty.
Now it’s in the judicial system and that can be quite long and boring until we get to the interesting stuff which won’t be for months. That is when the defense will file a motion to dismiss, and if that fails motions to challenge witness testimony and evidence being admitted for trial.
Current motions and actions can be monitored at the link below but mostly (at this point) revolve around the DOJ turning over non-classified evidence and testimony to the defense. And Judicial orders on defense attorney’s obtaining the proper clearances so the DOJ can then share classified evidence. Oh and a motion to proceed with the Classified Information Procedures Act hearing.

Of course FPOTUS#45 can end all of the delay caused by having to deal with classified information by filing a motion with the court that NONE of the evidence is classified because prior to noon on January 20, 2021 he (while still President) secretly and mentally declassified all the information contained in the pallets of boxes that where shipped to Florida. Once FPOTUS#45 informs Judge Cannon in an official sworn statement under penalty of perjury filed with the court that none of the documents are really classified that should be the end of that right?

It looks like this whole thing will be fairly quiet until the trail starts.
