I can’t see it. I mean, all some folks want to do is to maintain their identity, culture, language, religion, politics, and ancestry, and in order do to that, they want to keep out anyone who offers anything different.
My favorite ice cream is vanilla. If you add caramel to my vanilla, or if you’re into sprinkles or, worse, crushing a candy bar and dumping it willy nilly on top, or adding gummy bears, M&Ms, or candy corn, then I’m going to be legitimately angry, because you’ve destroyed my dessert, and that’s something that I can never get back.
At least you agree the difference is small. They say socialism allows capitalism and communism try’s to end it. But saying you “allow” capitalism means you want to control it’s outcomes through govt. Still, Not a bad way to distinguish them…
How many times has he actually mentioned the constitution in his speeches or tweet or interviews during the campaign or as president? Probably count all of the instances on 1 hand
It means he loves the America where he’s rich and only has to interact with other rich people. He doesn’t love the America with poor people, black people and chicks.
It’s easier to see the US as a federation of differing nations, organized by region. There are some central tenants that are shared between each region, such as language, but the differences are profound.
I accepted a long time ago that as a deep southerner I view things differently than people from New England, or the west coast, or even the southwest. It’s a cultural thing.
That’s why an overbearing federal government is undesirable.
