President Trump unloaded on his 2016 election rival during a fiery speech in Texas Monday night; joking he may have to nominate Hillary Clinton to the US Supreme Court so she could “finally be investigated.”
Trump was speaking alongside Sen. Ted Cruz when he commented on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s brutal confirmation battle; asking the crowd if they “could imagine” the former Secretary of State’s nomination process.
“If you want the Fake News to finally investigate Hillary Clinton, we’ll just have to nominate Hillary Clinton to the United States Supreme Court. How do you like that?” joked Trump.
“Let’s see how she does. If Judge Kavanaugh had to go through what he went through, can you imagine Hillary up there? That would take three to four years of questions,” he added.
