I can give you 400,000 reasons but first…you have to open your eyes?

Then why did Trump keep praising their efforts? It seems like that is where your concern should of been yet it wasn’t.

Camp:
We have found the swamp needs to be fed.
She does have the election season charm that could matter.
She fought Trump at times and supported him at times…independent thinker credibility.
If we go with another outsider…the intelligence agencies and communication oligarchs will destroy them again.
If we go with a a Romney style nominee Trump supporters by the millions will sit it out.
Those style can’t win anyway. We should have learned that by now.

Those governors demanded that ability.
Dude Trump cannot be responsible for every death. It’s a virus unleashed on America by China.
Is Trump somehow responsible for the thousands who died in New York nursing homes because if the stupid policy of New York’s stupid governor.
I guess it’s Trump’s fault because he didn’t sign an executive order over ruling Cuomo.
Those governors demanded control…if I remember right Trump suggested in a task force briefing last spring that the federal government would be taking the lead on the virus and directing the states…and the howls of “imperial president” reverberated far and wide. Now you somehow see demanding he be held accountable???
Good Lord People get a damn grip.
Your guy won…get over it.

Do you believe Trump could have accomplished the things you support without being so decisive? Or was his divisiveness an essential characteristic for their accomplishment?

You don’t think it’s somewhat hilarious that Trump supporters are unwilling or unable to blame him for any failures, or if they even believe that there were failures?
I mean, in addition to the deaths and Capitol sacking, under his leadership Republicans lost the White House, the House AND the Senate? Do you believe that Trump supporters might need to have a moment of self reflection here?

No, you do not remember correctly. That didn’t happen. Could you link to that task force briefing?

It is one measurement. I’d also say that the length of your marriage is another. The success of your children is another. How many people would say they love or respect you is another. There are many measurements but that…is one. Now is it full proof? Nope but it’s a neutral indicator and there’s nothing sad about this truth. It’s a simple fact of life.

My memory wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t totally wrong either. This is from the Bmj.com. (Not familiar with that site but it’s summary is the most concise.)
“ A constitutional showdown between US states and the federal government over control of social distancing measures has ended in defeat for President Trump, whose claim this week to “total” authority was unceremoniously dismissed by governors, constitutional experts, and even some of his staunchest Republican allies.
On reopening the economy, “the president of the United States calls the shots,” Trump said at his daily briefing on 13 April. “When somebody’s the president of the United States, the authority is total,” he added.
But after a chorus of criticism and derision, he told a virtual meeting with governors on 16 April, “You are going to call your own shots.”
So the president claimed federal authority…governors said no…the president yielded.
According to at least one poster here Trump should be held accountable for giving them what they wanted.

No, that isn’t even remotely close to what happened. At no point did Governors refuse his authority to take control of the virus response

Believe what you will. You can read the info I posted or not…I don’t really care what you think.
In April 13 Trump made a statement about federal authority…governors rejected that authority…governors took control…

Did he? Look at the examples provided and the majority were early on, while they were still blatantly lying to the world about the virus spread. As time went on, Trump did his best to place the blame where it should go but not burn any bridges along the way. Here’s March 20th; Trump
** Well, I have to say this: We have — and I can speak for myself, but I have a very good relationship with China and with President Xi. I have great respect for President Xi. I consider him to be a friend of mine. It’s unfortunate that this got out of control. It came from China. It got out of control. Some people are upset. I know — I know President Xi. He loves China. He respects the United States. And I have to say, I respect China greatly and I respect President Xi.
As a world leader and China being the biggest, single threat to our very existence, I don’t see anything wrong with his response. What’s your beef?

I actually read the whole article and not just your cherry picked quote. All that briefing dealt with was forcing states to reopen. That is literally the only part of the response he tried to exert control over.Nothong that would of actually helped though

I think that the mainstream media, which was over 93% negative, have done their very best to divide this country. I’m also witnessing the same from social media giants. There was also an insider political establishment doing the same thing, hence…all of the leaks to the press, Russian collusion and the Mueller investigation where the scope was purposefully and largely widened by Rosenstein for no other purpose but to remove him from office. All you have to do is open your eyes and ears, pay attention, stop eating from the troughs…and think for yourself.
