The article says that he is going to El Paso at the invitation of the Mayor. Rollingstone killed its own article at the beginning.
If the mayor had not invited him, he could surely have come at the invitation of the Governor, who is a Republican.
If the Governor of the state had not invited him, he could and should have gone because he is the President of all the people.
Just once, Democrats should try looking at something in a way other than “can we use this politically”.
BTW, if he had not gone then six months from now proof of his racism would jinclude that he didn’t even bother to show up at El Paso because they were Hispanic.
I don’t think people are still in need of proof of his racism, that ship sailed. The multi year birther campaign should have wrapped it up but the go back to the country you came from to minority congresswomen who were born in the U.S. was the final piece.
He’s president of all the people! Except socialist democrats, those sons of bitches in the NBA, women of color in Congress who may or may not be from ■■■■■■■■ countries…
I thought the President served at the will of the people?
The people have spoken.
Are you saying the President should ignore the will of the people?
Isn’t that authoritarian?
