We knew this was coming and we can expect nothing from the Republican cowards in congress.
Trump is dirty and attempting to save his own butt.
The Law and Order folks will cheer this.
This is simply to try and prevent others from flipping, take one for Trump and get a “get out of jail free card”. Hopefully people grow a backbone and see through it.
It’d be one hell of a cluster he’d inflict on himself.

I want to see some of trump’s faithful here so some of the same crimes Manafort committed and see if their hero would pardon them.
Pardoning Manafort would be a disaster politically. It would be a giant step closer to Trump’s being impeached. Most would read it as a “hush pardon”.
If he really feels that bad about Manafort, he had better save the pardon for his last days in office…or they probably would be.

How far will it go before the Pubs say/do something about this embarrassment of an administration?
I’m trying to figure out whether this is the dog wagging it’s tail, or the tail wagging the dog.
With any other President, I would assume this was a trial balloon floated to gauge what the public reaction would be - but I don’t know if Trump’s press office is that competent.
This might be FOX and Friends trying to float the idea to influence Trump - it’s well known that he watches every day.
