Trump compares impeachment inquiry to a "lynching"

Graham knows. He just knows he must kiss butt or he will be out of Trump’s favor.

Sure Jan, I’m sure the thought that cones to everyone’s mind when they feel frustrated is that they’re being lynched.

Same excuse given for his obstructions into the Mueller probe.

Doesn’t wash. Try that defense if you’re not the President.

He is, you bumbling idiot.

Yeah, the lynching thing is whiny, offensive, and stupid. But let’s take a closer look:

So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights.

Well, yes: a majority in the House can impeach a president for whatever they choose to (subject to lots of practical political considerations, of course).

This is another case (among countless others) where Trump doesn’t know anything, or how anything works.

without due process or fairness or any legal rights.

Yes: It’s a political process, not a judicial process. Like the emoluments clause, which he seems to think is “phony,” impeachment (as it turns out) is constitutional.

When Trump complains about “fairness” my mind automatically jumps to Merrick Garland. Trump wants one side to play fair, not both.

Trump is like Emmett Till only more ethically pure

What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.

Despicable administration

Usually when Trump says dumb ■■■■ like this, his defenders can justify by insisting that he meant something else. It’s kind of impossible in this case. So if he wasn’t comparing his treatment to that of African Americans who where killed because of their skin color … then, by all means, explain what he meant.

That’s how afraid he is of being outed

There’s no other rational explanation.

He meant like it was like a Marshawn Lynch. Democrats are running down the impeachment field in beast mode not caring about being fair.

That’s what he meant.

“This is a lynching in every sense.”

Except in the sense of lynching.

Wasn’t Emmett Till lynched?

Metaphorically he was. Not actually like what the Dems are doing to Trump.

Imagine if Obama…crap, never mind.

If Obama had a son, his struggle for equal treatment under the law would pale to that of Donald J. Trump.
