You can’t admit there are national level democrats that want open borders? All I’ve seen is deflecting as to how he has no influence or isn’t on the national level…
You come at me for not admitting some half-assed remark you made, while refusing to acknowledge my point?
You know, I think this is another area where a certain level of expertise is needed to opine. Not many here have that expertise.

No I seriously agree with your point. There are a handful of democrat politicians (I said you could probably find 10) who are for completely open borders. And I also said I vehemently disagreed with them- as does the vast majority of democrats and Democrat leadership. Its a complete non-starter.
But I am baffled that you are unable to say your opinion on the 2000 foot wall. This should be easy…why are you dodging?
A 2000 foot wall- height? That’d be stupid. 2000 foot sections- what’s wrong with that? Would make it fairly easy to cover most of the border.

You’re taking him literally and not seriously.

Whoops I meant a 2000 mile Wall…all for it?
This is my last attempt. I’ve answered your question thoroughly.
I’m for a wall along as much as feasibly possible of the border.
Well there are two sides of a fence too

There is no wall or fence surrounding Obama’s home. This is a fact.
Is there anyone here who doesn’t understand that fact?

How about this compromise–a 2,000 mile long wall that is four inches high.
In future negotiations, we’ll be willing to go as high as 4 1/2 inches, but no higher.
We’ll even agree to call the four-inch-high wall the Great Wall of Trump.
Talk to your people.

For the purposes of this discussion it is. This discussion was whether Dems voted to spend money on border security.
Both types of legislation spend money. Thanks for noticing.
Radical republican obstruction of Obama is why we didn’t pass comprehensive immigration reform in 2013.

Yeah, Obama was a paragon of truthfulness.
I liked my plan and doctor and kept them so yes he was.

Not just one wall, but several, with armed guards, preventing anyone from getting within sight of Obama’s mansion.
Public walking is forbidden. lol

That seems a reasonable solution. And even the tiniest hands could build a 4-inch wall.

Won’t work. They’ll just tunnel underneath it.

Your idea of a fact is interesting. Clearly, from the pictures posted above, there is a tall fence being constructed around Obama’s DC home. It might even be completed by now, but when reporters went there to see for themselves, they could not get close enough to verify it. They were stopped by other security measures … barriers and police … before getting close enough to see the fence. Gotta love liberal’s stubbornness to accept reality.

Sure. Keep telling yourself that. Reform of the immigration laws is wholly different than border security unless you think that the borders essentially should be open and everyone who wants to come here should be let in.
What do the words “comprehensive immigration reform” mean to you?

Okay, that’s one person who doesn’t understand the fact that there is not a wall or fence surrounding Obama’s house.
Anybody else?
