Trump Chickens Out on Immigration

Since there are millions and millions and millions here…it’s a target rich environment. IMO Trump is directing our limited resources on more high profile, violent illegal aliens that need to be removed immediately.

When this line goes down (substantially) he is doing his job.

Until then he is not.

I don’t think I get it, so no raids, out of being a favored industry? But they can find them outside the workplace and deport them?

And if they won’t get deported because of the place of work, won’t that encourage employers to leverage their protected worker status to make it worse for illegal immigrants?

It took the traitor Biden 4 years to do the damage he’s done to this nation. Since Trump’s been in office less than 5 months and the line immediately began moving in the direction that we both want, I can be patient.

Where is the duh emoji?

How about enforcing the 1986 agreement and the IRS doing their job, prosecuting those that hire illegals? If they go through the proper process, green cards are issued and those here are peaceful and productive…I see no problem. The real problem is our government not enforcing our laws and that’s been going on since…1986!

“Some illegals are less illegal than other illegals.”

Our “laws” determine who is and who isn’t. It’s nothing personal.

Of course this post has nothing to do with the select deportations of illegals. Biden didn’t make Trump stop… it was Trumps wealth donor who made him stop.

Prioritizing enforcement…or thats what some used to refer to it as.

All this could have been avoided with work permits etc.

Trump made the adjustments he alluded to earlier. It looks like he is listening. Good for him.

It’s like firing John Bolton after hiring him.

Whatever floats your boat.

If he wants more immigrant workers in those industries, he should propose something like special visas. And try an actual law instead of “prosecutorial discretion” like Obama used.
If you want them here, try a legal route and not continue the practice of selective enforcement.

Doug, we been saying this for decades here…I guess basic common sense don’t exist anymore.

In agriculture they already exist. (H2a and H2-b visas)
The criminals who hire criminals merely decided
“I’m gonna save a buck and not pay the comission the agencies require. . . but don’t worry. Your food is safe and high-quality, eveything else I do is honest. I only lie and chaet and break the law about some things.”(yeah right)

In hotels and restaurants it is not much different but a bit trickier
My town relies on J-1 visas, and again, there are agencies available. The workers must be students and must be receiving some sort of internship credit . . . . but there are plenty of applicants. Entire unviesities in Jamaica send almsot their entire student body to the US on “summer internships.” I am confident there are some in China, Greece etc too.

Tell me how you spin this into a good thing for MAGA?

The special visas already exist. They are called hb1 visas
