A New York State appeals court ruled Thursday that Summer Zervos, a former contestant on “The Apprentice,” can sue Donald Trump for defamation while in office and he is not protected by the presidency from answering civil charges. Zervos has accused Trump of groping her and kissing her against her will. The ruling upheld a similar declaration from a lower court that also said she could sue. Trump, not surprisingly, has called it “a hoax.” (Funny how it’s either a witch hunt or a hoax.) Zervos and nine other women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct.
