Excellent.

I agree.

The stakes? I really don’t care. It can be pizza(I’ve done this with Smyrna where he sends it to the local charity of my choice) or it cold be an Hannity thing. Signature or something like that. Or donation. Doesn’t really matter.

Bam. We’re on…but…you’re in charge of reminders cuz I’m an airhead…even if I win? :sunglasses:

Fair enough. I’ll let you know. I honestly don’t mind being wrong. And don’t mind paying off when I lose bets. I’ve learned a lot from lost bets. That’s life. Seriously, bets aren’t necessarily bad. If you believe in something strongly, don’t be afraid to back it up. Don’t bet the house, but if you’re going to be adamant(pun, my unsername is Adam) about something, then maybe you should be willing to invest something. That’s life also. And also, count on me reminding you about the bet as the debates get closer. And counting down. :grinning:

I agreed with you.

Now you want to bet? :flushed:

Sorry DMK. I thought you wanted to do a bet. My mistake.

Why would I take a bet on agreeing the debates should be in person?

Well Smyrna did right before you, and then you got into your “define present” “define room” stuff. I misunderstood.

This is what threw me off.

I wanted your definition. Definitions can be nefarious so I wanted to drill down on it.

We agreed to in person and fair and square with the questions.

I understand. I have “in person meetings” over video chat. Folks in different parts of the country.

It isn’t the same as being face to face in physical proximity.

So our discussion is done. I thought you were going for definitions for a bet. You were not. We agree on the scenario but there is no bet. We’re don.

What does nancy have to do with debates?

Allan

There is a thread right now with Trump explainers doing their thing about how he didn’t know it was a white nationalist tweet. Lol.

Ask nancy. She’s the highest elected leader of the dimocrat party, 2nd in line for the presidency and puller of strings. She’s out giving advice…but you knew that.

And joe has clearly rejected that advice.

Next. See ya in Cleveland 4 weeks hence.

Okay.

Debate moderators have been selected.

The presidential debates will be moderated by Chris Wallace, Steve Scully and Kristen Welker.

The Commission on Presidential Debates has selected the moderators for the three debates between President Trump and former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. this fall, as well as the single vice-presidential debate, the commission announced Wednesday.

Chris Wallace, the “Fox News Sunday” anchor, will moderate the first debate on Sept. 29, to be held in Cleveland, the person said.

The second debate, a town hall-style forum scheduled for Oct. 15 in Miami, will be moderated by Steve Scully of C-SPAN.

And the final one, on Oct. 22 in Nashville, will be moderated by Kristen Welker of NBC.

The vice-presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris, Mr. Biden’s running mate, which is set for Oct. 7 in Salt Lake City, will be moderated by Susan Page of USA Today.

I think these are fine choices. Fox, NBC, C-SPAN, and USA Today.

But Chris Wallace is a big ole meany. Did you see how mean he was to the president?

How soon till Sloppy Donny starts clucking about pulling out of the debates because the moderators are mean, rigged, nasty, so unfair, or bleeding from their wherevers.

I predict he’ll start Twitter whining tomorrow morning.
