After seeing the video, the President disagreed with your conclusion so much so, that he had a beer summit. The officer was never fired and here is the review by professionals concerning his conduct.

Incivity, no matter the level, is not a crime.

The charges against Gates were dropped within days, because they knew there was no chance they would stick.

Officer Crowley arrested Gates for something that isn’t a crime. His opinion doesn’t matter.

Being rude is not a reason for arrest.
