President Trump’s approval rating reached a record high benchmark this week, with his poll numbers matching his previous record at the time of the inauguration, according to a stunning new survey from Gallup.
The left-leaning survey shows the President enjoying a 45% approval rating, matching his previous high at the time of his inauguration in January 2017.
“Gallup tracks daily the percentage of Americans who approve or disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president. Weekly results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults,” writes the survey.
The President’s approval rating has risen by more than 3% in just two weeks.
The healthy approval rating likely spells trouble for Congressional Democrats, many of whom were hoping for a “blue wave” this November that would sweet the liberal lawmakers into control of Congress.
