President Trump’s daily approval tracking poll ticked up in recent days; hitting 50% just one week before American voters head to the polls to decide the direction of the country during the 2018 midterm elections.
According to Rasmussen Reports, the Commander-in-Chief’s approval rating rose to 50% Monday with 49% disapproving of Trump’s job performance.
“The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 43% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8,” adds the survey.
The strong data comes as the high-stakes midterm election draws to a close; with both Democrats and Republicans hoping to take control of the House of Representatives and the Senate this November.
