Let’s see. Yesterday you were on here declaring how Trump was getting us into another Nam. You were all about rooting for Iran telling us how wonderfully strong and dangerous Iran is and how we should not be messing with them.
Then cease fire is announced.
Now you are against the ceasefire.
Comical at best.
From what I’ve seen. All you really know is you hate Israel and need some outlet to express that hatred.
I agree. On the other hand, Truman was noted for what was then unprintable language. I suspect that the reporting has changed, not the actual words from the President.
I am more concerned about a return the good old days of lobbing napalm and nukes to destroy whole cities.
I support the ceasefire. Trump’s declaration of ceasefire is a good thing since it confirms he is attempting to end the war.
The problem may be that Trump is not the only one who is making decisions. The question is whether it is possible to get a ceasefire that holds. There is also a question whether neocons and Israeli interests can drag the US into escalating the war.
Eisenhower was the last president who publicly stood against Israeli attack during the Suez Crisis of 1956. Perhaps Eisenhower was the last president who was in full control over US foreign policy.
