Still so confused. McConnell blocked Garland and ushered in 3 new Supreme Court justices which helped end Roe V Wade. I mean- thats historic. When he was majority leader he stopped pretty much any democrat bill he could. Why would you not like the guy?

Because he is Brandon’s Senate dinner bestie.

Yup. And aside from the hearings, Cheney is a rock ribbed conservative.

There’s all these off ramps with Trump, and they keep passing them.

Oh well, not my problem

Yes, that’s pretty amazing stuff.

Sounds like Trump trying to train those playground kids.

Only critprogs create Venezuela… the perpetual ■■■■ hole.

Or just trying to be the biggest bully of all the 7th graders.

Seems like the Dems want DeSantis to get in simply to have themselves chip away at each other and thus ultimately divide the Republican base so neither candidate wins the White House in 2024 general election?

As it stands right now, seems doubtful that Ron takes the bait…

Normal candidates accept that they are not guaranteed the nomination and must convince the voters that they are the best choice. Each candidate makes his best case and calmly accepts the voter’s choice. There is no need to consider having alternate candidates as a civil war. Any candidate that would react that way does not have the temperament to be in the White House.

Trump beat out the field to earn the Republican Party nomination in 2016 general election cycle fair and share. In 2020, as is tradition for an incumbent, DJT essentially ran as the GOP nominee for re-election uncontested. Now yesterday #45 declared his intentions formally a 3rd time. I am a bit confused where you get Mr. Trump does not welcome competition here? Many believe the former POTUS thrives in this kind of arena…

So with that please clarify what’s your point?

I made myself clear. Someone compared another person running to a civil war. I said it would be no such thing and no person of decent temperament would take it as such. I don’t know how to make it clearer.

Did you ever hear how many candidates running for public office over the years call politics a blood sport?

I don’t take the worst politicians of the past to be the gold standard.

My point is trusting action not words when assessing Presidents.

That would be ideal. They deserve each other.

Also, this might be DeSantis’s best chance. 6 years is about how long it took for Rubio to get stale. Ronnie should run now, while he’s still important enough for Trump to bully.

like it ever had a chance.

For me he’s my 0 choice. I honestly can’t think of someone I wouldn’t prefer over him? His time has come and gone but unfortunately he’s too pinheaded to realize that.

I was pretty pessimistic about dems chances in the senate in 2024. Now that president toxic has announced his candidacy, the future is bright. 86 million people may vote this time to ensure he never steps foot in the Whitehouse again. He may hand the senate to the dems due to that. Thank you Trump.

I don’t think there were enough American flags…there was space to squeeze in some more.

At least they could have spaced them out more evenly.
