‘Biden is nowhere near Bernie sanders, politically.’
Theoretically yes, that is how he won, he claimed to be moderate, that is how he won, but he went along with the Sanders/Biden Manifesto which appealed to all the Socialists. And what he has gotten through, and did by executive order, goes along with the Agenda. As noted above & my original thread starter, that is going along with his agenda. In the manifesto he itemized everything, he didn’t campaign on it very much. He downplayed ran away from his attempt to downplay the importance of fracking but it is in his manifesto. He didn’t campaign on doing away with the Hyde amendment, but it is in the manifesto. Yes he didn’t back away from changing his position on that, his previous ‘principled position against federal funding of abortion’ It is in his manifesto. He is doing what he can to implement CRT, though in debate he just spoke as it was to stop discrimination against blacks, while CRT is much much more than that. That is in his manifesto. He didn’t campaign on pitting whites against blacks, but ‘equity’. This whole 3.5 Billion dollar ‘human infrastructure’ thing how is that not Sanders agenda par excellence?
The Abolitionist Teaching Network, not only pushes widely-opposed Critical Race Theory — its advocates vow to “disrupt and dismantle Whiteness and other forms of repression” in America’s schools. That apparently works for the Biden administration: the Department of Education linked to the Abolitionist Teaching Network’s “Guide for Racial Justice & Abolitionist Social and Emotional Learning” in its handbook intended to help schools reopen after pandemic — and also recommend how they should spend billions of dollars they collectively received through the so-called American Rescue Plan, as Fox reported.
Reversing executive order by President Trump:
In September 2020, then-President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning federal agencies and contractors from conducting training sessions based on critical race theory. Specifically, the order banned “race or sex stereotyping,” “race or sex scapegoating,” and teaching that “an individual’s moral character is necessarily determined by his or her race or sex.” In short, the executive order made sure that all training sessions complied with the basic framework of the Civil Rights Act of 1964: there is no place for racism in the federal government.
But the truth is in the text of the order: its reversal eliminates protections against racial stereotyping, scapegoating, and harassment. This makes reversal an implicit endorsement of the idea, outlined in the order, that “America is an irredeemably racist and sexist country” and that “some people, simply on account of their race or sex, are oppressors.”
A couple of items show that. Now the other thing showing Biden kowtowing to Sanders is when he made the agreement with Republicans for the 1.2 Trillion amount which included real infrastructure (although included not infrastructural stuff, he said orginally said that is what he wanted and that is what the Republicans agreed to. Then, shortly after that he flipped and said that it needs to be tied to the 3.5 Trillion human infrastructure bill. You know, to legalize and make illegals legal with the hope of becoming future Democrats for at least 11 million, expanding Medicare to help bankrupt Medicare.
Everything Biden touches turns to ■■■■■ That may be a virtue given the worldwide fertilizer crisis Biden has created.
When Biden took office, the vaccines were supposed to give us herd immunity within a few months. Biden assured Americans that vaccine mandates were not necessary.
Biden would get a boost from bringing home the troops from Afghanistan. Biden would treat foreign autocrats with the distain and contempt that they deserve.
The adults are back in charge! Rainbows and unicorns!
I still can’t figure out why someone would spend their time and money to go listen to a politician speak. Right, left, conservative, liberal, it doesn’t matter. Is it entertainment? Group therapy? The desire to belong? What do people get out of the experience? I don’t understand.
Wait you don’t pay your family so they can give you a sense of belonging? Dang it now i have to have a conversation with my mom. She owes me some money back
