Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau found himself in hot-water with his country’s First Nations leaders this week; openly berating tribal Chiefs over their “poor time management skills” after a high-level meeting unexpectedly ran over-time.

Trudeau was talking with the local leaders during a roundtable discussion focused on First Nation rights when he lashed-out at the Chiefs; saying “I’m really, really upset about this.”

“I am really, really upset about this,” said the Prime Minister.

“And it wasn’t for me to interrupt the previous speakers. [Chief] Bobby [Cameron], there shouldn’t have been every single person speaking for eight minutes in this meeting. That is not the spirit of reconciliation, of the nation-to-nation relationship we are supposed to have. And I am stuck with an absolute time cap at 9:05,” he added.

Gee, how did I know there was going to be no tantrum or no berating at that link. That’s the job of a leader, to keep meetings moving and not getting bogged down in minutae. Somehow I think trump lacks that ability.

He wasn’t even upset at the First Nation leaders he was upset at his own staff for only booking the meeting for an hour when their was so many chief who wanted to speak the introduction took 45 min of a 60 min meeting.

He isn’t in any hot water at all the main person in the meeting even invited him back for future talks.

As I said in the other thread you are slightly misquoting him to make it seem like he was upset with the Chiefs and the conservation same with the video. Trudeau was upset with his own staff for booking only an hour for the meeting, Something Chief Bobby Cameron also was upset with, Trudeau was expecting a small meet and greet with 4-5 people what he got was a large meeting with 8 + Chief and didn’t have enough time to properly talk with them.

Trudeau was invited to attend future meeting to properly address fully with the proper amount of time for each speaker.
