U.S. President Donald Trump’s penchant for breaking rules makes it especially necessary for Canada to preserve NAFTA’s independent dispute resolution system in any trade deal with the U.S., Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday.

Trump isn’t down. If Trudeau doesn’t want to go along then Trump should and probably will tear up the NAFTA treaty and kick Canada to the curb in favor of a bilateral treaty with Mexico.
