There is no transphobia. We are not afraid of trans people. We are not mentally ill. Here’s the deal. We don’t care what you call yourself or how you dress. What we don’t like is someone who calls himself a girl walking around a women’s locker room with her penis flopping around. Especially around our daughters. Not cool. We don’t want the same penis bearing person dominating women’s sports. We don’t want sexually explicit drag queen shows targeting children. And last but not least, it’s not a phobia. It’s more of fatigue. We’re just tired of being hit over the head every day with trans this, trans that, trans, trans, trans. We would be more than happy if ya’ll gave it a rest for a while. Other than that, you be you. Dress how you like, call yourself whatever you choose. Just don’t expect anyone else to go along with the game. Fair enough?

It’s in part their media fault because of the concentration on the stories. Specifically the stories that involve simply relaying a Twitter thread exchange. “Blah blah got slammed by social media of blahs because of a trans post”. Those aren’t news. They are tabloid fodder nonsense
Me too. And I actually have kids currently in K-12, in lib utopia SoCal…. In a very Libby district… and I have never seen anyone indoctrinating kids into “trans” (I don’t even know what that means).

Snowflake conservative media parents who watch way too much OAN or Newsmax… thinking that the simply showing or talking about the existence of trans will suddenly make their kids walk into a clinic and get their genitals changes. “The tv man said they can do that even without my consent!!” Dummies…

I’m comfortable with my parenting. My kids aren’t so weak minded that they see a trans person and suddenly feel they want to be trans. My kids see gay and trans people more often than most across the country… and they are not asking to be like them.
Oh and also, they aren’t indoctrinating about them in school beyond their existence and historical discrimination.
Those stories do not typically stand alone. They are part of another story and added to the main story as context. If Walz wants to make MN a trans sanctuary for trans children to be sexually mutilated without parental consent and another politician comes out in opposition, isn’t that news? if Desantis wants to make all gender altering mutilations of children illegal in FL isn’t that news? Isn’t it news when the federal government decides to sue him to force the state to allow child abusing sexual mutilation? isn’t it news when politicians or people of influence on either side come out either in support of or opposed to these positions?
Is it not news when schools expose children to trans propaganda without parental consent? When a parent complains about their child being exposed to this indoctrination and grooming is that not news? When organizations push for or against this, is it not news?
They are not stories at all. They are specifically done to keep a story in the media after the news cycle is fading. It creates a fake concentration of trans events.
Most of the rest of it is news. Though parental complaints about what they believe is indoctrination isn’t news. The actual indoctrination is news. You can find parental complaints about every subject related to school. That’s not news. That’s posting a story for ditto heads
I think that you have a misinformed view of what the standard of care is when it comes to trans kids. You keep using the word “mutilate” when surgery is really really rare.
I also think that the fact that trans people exist counts as “propaganda” and “indoctrination” and “grooming” which is pretty silly.
