Totally Useless Info

From google:

Elbow macaroni, commonly known as “elbows,” is a small, curved, and tubular pasta shape that resembles the shape of an elbow, which gives it its name. It is a classic and widely recognized pasta shape that has been a staple in various comfort food dishes for generations.

That’s totally useless.

Your nose and ears never stop growing…

My toenails keep growing.

Slept with the windows open last night. Crisp air.

I built an enclosure for my lilacs in order to keep the deer from feasting on the succulent leaves and blooms.

Hard to believe we still get daily visits from the deer in our fully developed housing area. But then again, we are surrounded by open land, where the deer thrive.

Getting quotes to have the pine tree taken down in my front yard. Hate to do this but its killing my grass and way too much work cleaning up pine needles.

When I lived in MA, I had a giant oak tree on the side of my house. It started splitting at the first main crotch. I called my insurance co to see if they would pay for cabling or removal. “No, but if it falls on your house, you’re covered!”

I decided to cut it down. Cost was $400 (almost 40 years ago.) I had them cut the big pieces into fireplace length. I ended up selling the wood for the same $400 I paid for removal.

Beautiful tree. It was a shame.

In Texas, I stupidly planted a globe willow tree in my back yard. Within a few years it had its desired effect. Instant shade. It kept growing and after 10 years, two people could no longer put their arms around the trunk. I was in seventh heaven, until the 11th and 12th year. By year 13 it was completely dead. I never realized the average life expectancy for globe willows was about 15 years.

Long story short. It cost me $1,200 to have the tree cut down.

As useless as that info seems, I had the same problem with several persimmon trees in my back-40 after right about 15 years.
