Rep. Jerrold Nadler doubled-down on the Democrats’ total dismissal of Robert Mueller’s final report on Russian collusion Friday; saying the special counsel couldn’t prove ‘obstruction’ charges because “lots of people destroyed evidence.”

“The special prosecutor made very clear that he couldn’t reach a determination on obstruction of justice because of Justice Department guidelines which didn’t allow him to do that,” said Nadler.
“Barr has revealed himself as an agent of the President… [Mueller] wasn’t able to prove a criminal conspiracy, and one of the reasons he said he wasn’t able to do it was that lots of people destroyed evidence, perjured themselves,” he added.
