Under current U.S. law, the President has the clear authority to use the military to defend our borders from any foreign invasion. I just wonder what California’s reaction would be. The state government there has already said that they would not allow state National Guard troops to be used on the border. What about reservists from California? Would they actually try to stop the regular military from manning the border? Many of the people in the caravans are telling reporters that they are headed to the border with California instead of Arizona. Guess they are hoping to be met by the Governor with open arms.
