A longtime Democratic Representative found himself in hot-water over the weekend after he viciously joked about drowning Donald Trump in the Potomac river; prompting laughs and widespread applause from the liberal audience.
Rep. Alcee Hastings was speaking at a rally Sunday when he recounted a joke he heard from a left-leaning colleague, saying “Do you know the difference between a crisis and a catastrophe? … A crisis is if Donald Trump falls into the Potomac River and can’t swim … a catastrophe is if anybody saves his a**.”
The legislator’s comments come just weeks after fellow Dem. Rep. Maxine Waters urged supporters to harass senior Trump officials at “restaurants” and “department stores.”
When you spend years relentlessly attacking everyone from POWs to the wives of your political opponents, all while conservatives cheer someone for finally “speaking like we do” and label anyone who takes issue as a “snowflake”, the attempts at outrage over dumb jokes ring a little hollow.
Of course leftist liberal Socialist Democrats go too far, they always have but Americans have been too tolerant assuming sanity, (or even basic common sense), of the civil society would prevail.
President Donald Trump was the “I could of had a V8” epitome moment for enough Electoral College voters to get the country back on track to MAGA…
