A governor cannot certify a “national vote”.

Just come out and say it libs. People of said state doesn’t get a ■■■■■■■ say and be done with it.

Why the deflection, insults etc when you can’t even be honest.

Man…did you nail it or what?

I’m not answering the question because it is irrelevant to the narrow subject that I am exploring.

Here’s a helpful hint for you…if you could let go of this idea that I am an “evil Lib” who is hiding a “secret motive” of supporting the NPVC so that conservative power can be “taken away forever”, with a little research you could easily come up with counter arguments to what I’ve laid out.

Another helpful hint…starting with “why even have presidential elections then” is not going to send you on the right track to coming up with them.

The last helpful hint…what WILL put you on the right track is understanding the nature of the power that state legislatures have in choosing electors, and what if any bounds on that power there might be.

Or you can keep pretending that I’m an evil lib with a hidden agenda.

Your choice.

You’re trying extremely hard to avoid a simple question.

Think you know more then me? I know all that ■■■■ long time ago.

Did you know they didn’t always select electors via vote.

Then prove you know it.

If you truly know all you say…then you would know why your question was irrelevant to the discussion. I don’t answer irrelevant questions…they lead nowhere and besides, I know it causes you to believe or reinforces your belief I have a hidden agenda, and that part is a fringe benefit for me…it provides tons of amusement.

Until you prove otherwise…I’m pretty sure I do know more than you.

I’m aware of our history.

So why even have national elections?

Who the ■■■■ are you that I have to prove myself?

Pretty demanding don’t you think?

As you all can see…Sneak was only one that came out and said it.

To give the illusion that your vote counts.

Of course it does not when it comes to presidential elections.

It’s not hidden, but you do have an agenda.

Thank you…now that wasn’t so hard now was it?

Whatever.

My assumption stands then.

I know more about the subject than you do.

It’s like when you are hyperventilating from panic and you put a paper bag over your head to re-breath CO2 to reduce the pani… hey! Wait a minute!

Isn’t it interesting how much we fight most over the position that matters the least?

Actually Hillary did.

There were 7 electors successfully who did not vote for the popular vote winner in their state.

5 were hillary electors
2 were trump electors.

Allan

What you know is how to deflect from having to answer honest question with honest answer.

As I said…don’t let Washington state fool you.

I am only going by what really happened.

Allan

I think 2 of them voted for Powell. They wanted to send a message to republicans that they didn’t “have too” vote for Trump.

And that what “really” happen in my state.
