State governments have always been voter-repression regimes.

Instead of making up what you wished I had said, why not stick to what was actually said? Can you do that?

There is no tossing of votes.

Sorry…your words matter.

And don’t tell me what I can or cannot say.

Of course…it’s politics. But what “some” here are purposing is outright insane when it comes to voters repression.

My words do matter. So stick to what I said and not make up stuff that wasn’t said so you can argue against them. Do you know what that is called when someone does that?

There…is…no…tossing…out…of…votes.

There might be plenty of reasons constitutionally where the courts will decide against the compact.

But YOU don’t vote for President…the electors do…and how electors vote is governed by the legislature that you DO elect.

Did you not say this?

So why even have a public vote.

We desperately need civics courses taught in school.

What?

I did say that. Because it is the truth. Read the Constitution, and then get back to me on how this whole electoral thing works. You seem to be struggling mightily with our Founding Document right now.

Here, I’ll link you to @JayJay post, because he sums it up nicely.

Did you know that you don’t actually vote for President conan?

Don’t play dumb with me…I know from you past posting history you’re highly intelligent.

No ■■■■ Dick Tracy.

It appeases the masses and enriches the media. It’s good kabuki.

If you knew that, then why are you so confused as to how States are allowed to choose their electors, and decide how they cast their vote on your behalf?

I’m not confused. It isn’t clear in our Constitution. Now get beyond that?

Do the people of there state get a say in who will represent the oval office…yes or no?

Libs think they’re playing some kind of a shell game here…not hard to follow their hands.

You are confused apparently. It IS clear in our Constitution.

Yes. They get to elect the representatives for their State Legislature. And the State Legislature then gets to legislate and decide how the electors in their state cast their vote for President.

Funny thing is, Trump had more unfaithful electors.

OK…were done here. Thanks for lesson.

Yes…

Don’t let Washington state fool you.
