I’ve been thinking about this “storming!” all day and something strikes me… uh I just heard it again on WGN.

It seems there are a lot of people think this was particularly egregious because what the building is and who was in it.

I get it, but I damn sure don’t share it. This doesn’t outrage me at all. In fact, I don’t care.

Maybe it’s because I’ve personally seen much, much worse. Or maybe because of the distance. I don’t know.

WGN just said something like “stormed one of the country’s most sacred buildings…” No it’s not. I don’t give a damn about those people because I know they don’t give a damn about me. They don’t deserve any more protection than a child waiting at a bus stop from being kidnapped.

Homes, offices and businesses are invaded, stormed and broken and entered every minute of every day in this country. People threatened, hit, windows broken, whatever. Why should they be exempt, they’re at least partially to blame.

I wouldn’t do it personally, especially for that reason. I’m not glad it happened nor would I encourage anybody else to, but I laughed.

Just like I laugh every time the serfs storm a castle in a movie. And I don’t care who the serfs are. If BLM does it, I’ll laugh again.
