I have no doubt they’ll try. The thing is, they got people to comply using an imminent danger. They used fear. Even then, no one was really locked down. The worst part was the closing of businesses. Our lockdown rules were pretty lax. And a lot of people just ignored them.

A climate lockdown would be much different. There’s no clear and present danger. Start to worry when the government gets a lot of people to support it. Like they did during the pandemic.

If you’re old AC is broken, then you just might put out the $10 for a new system that doesn’t contain GHG. As for using lots of electricity, if you’ve got solar, then the power company PAYS YOU to run your AC.
