Even your gospel writers agree that we don’t follow the crowd.

Etc etc etc
You see, Mx Acsirip, those who don’t follow “most Americans” are the one who think for themselves. And those who go along with “Most Americans” are the followers. You should have checked with MSNBC to see how you were supposed to respond before posting that.
Did you just use polling as a representative of independent thinking?

If I understand your meaning, I believe I did quite the opposite.

The poll has two sides - those who agree with the question and those who don’t. Just because you say no to the question asked doesn’t make you an independent thinker.
Have you ever sided with the majority of those who answered positively to a poll question? Such as let’s say a Rasmussen daily presidential tracking poll
Actually, my friend, the method that these leftists use to justify MSNBC crowing about what “most Americans” think is irrelevant. My post simply indicates that your side speaks out of two sides of its putrid collective mouth. (Which is why I have encouraged you to leave that side. You deserve better associations.) Out of one side, they say that Trump supporters think differently than most Americans. But out of the other, they say Trump supporters just follow the crowd.
Can’t have if both ways. Oh… well you can SAY it both ways but it reveals the dishonesty in the narrative.

The Constitution doesn’t say they have to vote.
The Constitution says the advise and consent of the Senate, not the Majority Leader.
We can agree on Constitutional text or you© can support McConnell’s action.
The choice is yours©.

Yes it does. As I said, nothing about a vote.
How do individual Senators as the body of the Senate expresss their Constitutional advise and consent without a vote?
The Majority Leader deciding for them is not the “Senate”.
As I said you© can support the Constitution or you© can support party over country like McConnell. You© have to do some real mental yoga to bend yourself© in a pretzel to do both.

However the Senate majority decides. They can have consent reveal balloons sent up if they want to.
The Senate Majority Leader is elected by the winners. The losers get to wait.

That’s what I said.
Party over country.
That’s for the confirmation.

Reid made the rules when the dems had it. Same thing. You ever hear me complain? No.
I don’t belong to a party, like I’ve said 1,000 times.
#1 What makes you assume I approve of Reid?
#2 Not anymore, but then we don’t have access to the old boards.
#3 Ya, some© don’t belong to a party but support McConnell’s hypocrisy leaving a SCOTUS seat vacant for over a year during an election year and ramming through a nominee just before an election in an election year.
IMHO - The Senate should have done their job in 2016 and the Senate should do it’s job in 2020. Both nominees deserve(d) a floor vote.

You guys have your own crowd. It’s just not a very big crowd. You are still part of one. You still follow what you are told to be true even when it’s not.
Support of an idea or of a man doesn’t make any of you independent thinkers.
Independent thinking does that. The fact is that independent thinking is lacking in most people either due to apathy or due to how ideas are presented and how those ideas support our biases. Independent thinking is an idealistic notion held by people who think they are better. It’s condescension. Plain and simple.

I don’t.
Not ever. Comments limited to reminding libs of it after the fact when the whining started. Elections have consequences. Pays to be a winner. Garland was never attacked personally. It waa politics, not personal.
What the dems did to Kavanaugh was unconscionable.

OK, friend. If I understand your post, you are saying nobody is an independent thinker.

“Deserve”? No. A floor vote is not “deserved” and has nothing to do with the character of the nominee.

I disagree. But then again I believe in the Constitution.
I agree 100%. It has to do with McConnell’s ■■■■■■ character. McConnell wasn’t the nominee.

Show me the term “Senate floor vote” reference the SCOTUS in the Constitution.

Right, he was the decider.
By that standard, what was done to Kavanaugh had to do with the lack of character of every dem in the Senate, including ya gurl Kamala.
