Already implied, since we know numbers continue after one.

Good discussion folks. Many thanks.

No. Barr needs to set up a special investigative team now. Just because he said it in public doesn’t make it not count…I remember that from when someone said they hoped someone had more letters by Hillary.

Dude…Trump has been a corrupt businessman years before he was a politician.
People who knew him from New York understand this well.
This has nothing to do with your “corrupt justice system” fantasies.
When Deutsche Bank is trying to figure out how to untangle themselves from him…you know he’s toxic.

I do appreciate the sentiment in this thread.
However:
As long as Donald Trump continues his tirades
As long as sitting US Senators call for state legislatures to violate the Constitution and federal law
As long as Newt Gingrich keeps calling for the Justice Department to arrest poll workers in Philadelphia
As long Paula White says demonic/satanic forces are at work trying to undermine America and steal the election from Trump
As long as good Republicans everywhere don’t repudiate such actions in the strongest words possible but instead only offer weasel words or remain silent
what was requested in the OP won’t happen.

Remember when we learned that President Trump had Bill Barr muck about with the SDNY… even going so far as to push Berman out of office in order to help out Erdogan and Halkbank?
Yeah… that was totally on the up and up.

Come on Doug…enough, please?

My favorite part of that.
Donald Trump got the DOJ to go easy on Turkey in their investigation into Turkey’s activities that were…
…wait for it…
…In violation of the toughened sanctions Trump placed on Iran!
And here Trump supporters were applauding him for being tough on Iran!

There’s definitely a rift, at the elected official/public figure level, between Republicans continuing to support Trump and push his as yet utterly unsubstantiated claims of election fraud, and Republicans who want to move on from the last four years as swiftly as possible.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ve already moved on.

Those admonishing Trump are milquetoast.
What needs to happen is an intervention on the level of the GOP Senators and Reps going to the White House and telling Richard Nixon enough was enough…resign or they would impeach and then convict.
But they won’t do that because Trump has the all powerful CEC Media behind him to rile up the ground forces.

I smell a Democrat Civil War brewing.
They had one in the late 1960s. Tore the party apart for a generation.

They’ve already turned on Fox. It’s over.

Fear of Trump (more accurately his base) will keep him at the forefront of the party’s collective consciousness for some time.

This one will be quick. The Old Guard is finished.

That’s the most likely outcome.
The old guard like Pelosi don’t have the ability to motivate the left like the new blood progressives.

It’s not over.
Fox may be drifting away but the media stars there are not.
And the media stars carry the clout…the people listen to them…they already think much of the rest of the GOP is too Establishment and that Fox regulars like Chris Wallace are Commie traitors.
And on Trump’s coattails came several Q-believing Represenatives who can be the next generation.

She’ll only keep the Speaker if they let her. It’s already started.
