Neither libs nor cons can claim a monopoly on stupidity.

Does the Bureaucracy Party every truly lose?

How many people who voted for Trump in 2016 were going to vote for him in 2020 regardless? There’s no logic to crazy.

Either way…Obama broke the chain of silence.

Monopoly? No. Sheer advantage? Absolutely the left can. They win with emotions, not policy.

No…thus the problem. It just holds on until better environment to expand. Never retract or receded ground.

That’s my point. Impeachment had two possible paths of success for Dems: remove Trump from office, or, failing that, sway public opinion against him. Both failed.

Never mind, Trump did in fact get more votes than Obama ever did.

‭69,772,211‬ - 69,498,516 = ‭273,695‬, and counting. lol

Yes, hence the Trump landslide in 2020. Clearly. Too funny.

Perhaps both sides are making a mistake in letting the radical elements define the sides through the media?

I get that that’s a rhetorical question, but if the left isn’t smart enough to see that this election wasn’t a zero sum victory then they deserve the inevitable result.

If Pelosi does, she’s playing it off well.

To me, this election looks just like 2016 but with a much more motivated Democratic base that pushed Biden over the top. To succeed, impeachment needed to change the minds of some of the people who voted for Trump in 2016 and expand the Democratic base for the future, and obviously that didn’t happen.

Sure. Just ignore all those lifelong Republicans who switched sides to vote for Biden.

Unless I’m mistaken most of those high-profile Republicans have been against Trump from the beginning, they weren’t convinced by the impeachment. Do you think the Democratic Party has expanded its base since 2016?

Your calm, rational thoughts appear to be angering your more radical comrades. Could be a trend going forward.

They really really hate Trump for besting 16 more conservative candidates in the primary.

Emotions are running high.

And they will cause fissures by 2022. I am good with this.

Obama wasn’t radical enough, and places were occupied as a result, paving the way for Trump.

To do that he has to take the Senate this year.

I hope.
