I imagine there will be Congressional hearings on this - the dems will want them to be far reaching in timeline, while the repubs will want to focus on the last 2 months.

Democrats will somehow make them about January 6 and systemic racism, maybe toss in some coronavirus and a little climate change.

No US troop has died there in eighteen months. Our guys were doing intel and air support, not ground operations. We only had like 2500 people there, not like we were on the front lines, that has been the afghans job for a long time.

Biden makes the wrong choice every single time. This is the guy who opposed the first Iraq war and supported the second, then opposed the surge.

This happened because we pulled air support and intel, period.

Should have never relinquished Bagram. That would have been the best place to transport US citizens and allies out of country. Instead all of the military hardware, arms, munitions there now are in Taliban hands.
