What about which party yelled racism when Trump wanted to shut down air travel with China, and then months later tried to blame him for not shutting down air travel sooner.

i wish often i was still lost. life was so much easier
but i wont go back.
I can’t imagine it being any easier than monolithically blaming one side for all the problems and all the corruption and all the authoritarianism.
Politics has always had an element of dirty pool to it but the personal attacks in politics has reached new levels in the past few years. Trumps stupid nick names, insults and public berating has done nothing to help it and has helped to normalize it but its not just on him. Other politicians on all sides have copied and gone down that route.
Pols like MTG, AOC and a few others have really gone to town on personal attacks.
I think attacking policy, a politicians track record is what the focus should be with personal attacks minimized but these days the entire political spectrum is obsessed with personal attacks and getting that zinger soundbite.
